Surnames: Lance Lirette
I am having a difficult time with the changing names.
I have a Michel who married a Zephirine Crochetiere with the last name Lirette in 1852 in St. Andre d'Argenteuil. When they moved to Ontario they changed it to Lance.
Michel's first wife was Angelique Couturier dit Lajoie, they married in 1825 in Rigaud, Québec.
His father appears to be Jean (Lirette, Liret, Lainse, Linse, Laynse) m: Marie Charotte Couillaud dit Laroque in 1790 Vaudreuil, Québec.
Would anyone have anything on this line? If you are interested in Michel's descendants, I can help you there.
