Still searching for info on the family of William Henry Lisenby and brother Charles. Henry named his first son Matthew Marvis, second son John Richard, third son Charles Simpson (4th William, 5th Jasper) . Matthew is from another mother, whom I know nothing of. I can not find these boys before 1880 in Grant County (Charles) and the first I have of Henry is his marriage in Grant County 1885.

He lists in census records he is born in Illinois and his father born in KY. He has to be of the Illinois Lisenby family, I can't place him. Charles may be adopted into this family..... Henry's sons on the WWI draft cards are said to have blue eyes, brown to black hair of medium build. I know these boys have to be somewhere on the census records in 1870 but I can't find them.
Thanks for any help!
Renee
