Mabel Dukes
FORT WHITE-Mabel Dukes, 95, of Fort White died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003 at
Lake City Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
A life long resident of Fort White, Mrs. Dukes was the widow of the late Lorenzo
Dukes and a member of Mikesville Presbyterian Church. She was a former
member of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Dukes is survived by: two brothers, Clyde Lites of Ellisville and Richard
Lites of Jacksonville; a sister Bernice Dukes of Jacksonville and many nieces,
nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great-nieces and
great-great-nephews.
Funeral service for Mrs. Dukes were Feb. 5, 2003 at Mikesville Presbyterian
Church with the Rev. Herb Brownlee officiating. Burial followed in Mikesville
Cemetery under the direction of Evans-Carter Funeral Home in High Springs.
