according to "Portrait and Biographical Record - Published 1894 by Excelsior Publishing Co., Chicago" Aurin Z. Littlefield was my gggrandmother, Diantha Littlefield Tyler's father. His wife was Betsy (Littlefield.) They had 3 children, Elizabeth, who m. Jonathan Leighton, co-owner of the mill, a son Aurin D, who was killed in the battle of Chicamauga, and my gggrandmother. Aurin Z was born in March, 1800 in Maine, and died in 1847(presumably in Wisconsin.) His wife's maternal grandfather served in the revolutionary war at the battle of Bunker Hill.
