My maiden name is LOAN.
My father's name, Charles LOAN.
My grandfather was Charles Joseph LOAN b. 1900 in Cuyahoga Co, Ohio, married Mary Eleanor MILLS.
My great grandfather was Charles Cornelius LOAN d 1943 married Mary Margaret WICK. I'm told by family that Charles Cornelius was one of 22 children. Have not been able to prove thus far.

I have a copy of a torn Naturalization paper and the copy of the page in the Cuyahoga Co State of Ohio Probate Court record book that shows that John LONE was a native of Ireland under "Victoria Queen", he was 57 years of age on 22 Oct., 1879, he arrived in the US in May of 1839 and signed "his mark" on the signature line. John would have been born circa 1916 and been about 23 years old on his arrival to the US.

John was my great great grandfather. I don't know where the spelling of the last name was changed.

I also have a grave that family says is related but I think they have the connection wrong. I believe that William J. LOAN was a brother to my John LONE / LOAN. William's tombstone is at the Erie Street Cemetery, East 9th Street, Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio in Section 9. The stone reads "Father", "Mother",
"Willaim J. LOAN & Mary A. LOAN,
b. 1811 d. 8/27/1895 & d. 1/30/1903"
