Just received the death certificate for my grandmother Erminia Lucarell, hand writing is not very good). She imigrated from Italy and settled in Philadelphia, Pa. Married to Amilcare Cozzi.They had 3 sons and 3 daughters. Death certificate says fathers name is Michael and her mothers maiden name is M. Scalone. Erminia was born 10-12-1886 and died 07-05-1942 in Philadelphia.

I am looking for information on a Johann Locatelli, my Grandmother told me his father was found in a convent in Bergamo Italy, if you or anyone you know has any information on him or anything that might be helpful to me it would be greatly appreciated.

I can't pull any info whatsoever on the Italian side. As far as I can go back is to the ship my great grandfather came to the US on. I do remember my father had a pic of the winery when I was a little girl. Keep in touch we can compare maybe.

Just sent a response to your Mother-in-law...she said you might contact me. If you search for Locatelli winery in CA you'll find a neat site with a history of the founder, Ceasar. Our Locatelli connection is probably through Franceso..that would be my ggrandfather..he's buried in Switzerland...died 1898 I think ..can check for sure. I'm thinking that both of there families came from Italy to Tocino Canton, Italian part of Switzerland and are probably related some where. Wish I could figure where ..do you any info on that ? Apparently, we might be related. I have gotten as far as tracking my great grandfather Giacomo James Locatelli. He had a brother Pietro (Peter). My part of the Locatelli family is known to have owned, or still does, a cheese company, (Locatelli Romano Cheese) and a wine vineyard. They came from the swiss side so please any info you have would be appreciated.

My Grand mother Palmina Locatelli born in 1916 lived in Locatello Bergamo. She had a twin sister still alive and lives somewhere in Italy she also had 12 brothers and sisters. She was sent as a cook in Switzerland where she met her husband Mladin Spasic. They migrated to Australia in around 1954.

Hello. My name is Annette Locatelli. My grandfather Arduino Locatelli born 1885(married Dominica Santini from Napoli) immigrated to Coalhurst, Alberta, Canada in 1915. He was Northern Italian (red-hair, white, white skin and blue eyes). The family was indeed from Locatello in Bergamo and he left under unknown circumstances. He was a grain farmer and the family did very well during the dirty thirties and fed many drifters and other people down on their luck. I am travelling there this Spring. Do you have any contacts? I know the church records are lost and incomplete.

Thr Holy Roman (Austrian)Emperor Ferdinand III granted 300 tilled fields in the district of Cormõns to Locatello Locatelli, Baron of Eulenberg and Schoenfeld, on 7 February 1644. Today, most of this estate is intact and the site of beautiful vineyards that produce magnificent wines.

Romualdo Locatelli - Artist 1905-1943

Hello Locatelli Family Members,

I am doing research on the art and life of Romualdo Locatelli. His father, Luigi Locatelli, was also an arist.

Romulado had a brief, very successful career before he disappeared in the Philippines in 1943.

Are any of you related? Can you help me figure out his family tree, including names of brothers and/or sisters and his mother?

I am also looking for paintings, drawings, photos of the artist and his family, anecdotes, memories, family lore, whatever you may have for me.

The artist's wife, Erminia Locatelli Rogers, would be 100 years old if still alive -- and she may be -- and lives in the US.

Locatelli Switzerland to CA

Looking for anyone with Locatelli connections in Colinosca or Cerentino Switzerland. I can trace my family back to Switzerland and know that they came from Bergamo but can not identify the line in Italy. My line is through Francesco Locatelli. He was born in Bergamo but moved to Switzerland and married Anna Maria Fantina. He died in the late 1800's and the family came to Sonoma County CA. Would love to find the correct family in Bergamo. Have additional details if anyone thinks they have a connection to Francesco.

My 2nd great granfmother is Elizabeth Locatelli who married Charles Martinelli. I still have not been able to confirm that they lived in Taleggio, Province Bergamo. I too live in Florida.

My grandfather's great grandfather (I believe) was the original setler of the "Locatello" town in Bergamo where ALL the Locatellis originated, all of us come from the same trunk, I am also looking for some info on my great grandfather Antonio who was born approx in 1836 his wife's name Maria Mazzucotelli and their son, my grandfather Geremias in 1866 he migrated to Argentina and settled there.
I live in Miami, Fl but I'm originally from Argentina.

My father and grand-father are Locatelli's originating from the Como region. Their ancestors are originating from the Bergamo region (Scanzo Rosciate, I believe). We are looking for Giuseppe, Vincenzo, Teresa or Santino around Como-lake (around 1880) and Ferdinando, Piero around Bergamo (1850's). Any help is welcome.

I am hoping to find someone whom may know something of the family history of Mary Locatelli. She was born about 1899 in Milan, Italy and was a widow in Somerville, Massachusetts by 1921. She married my 2nd great uncle William George Reid in Somerville, Massachusetts in 1921. According to the marriage record her father was John Locatelli and her mother was Louise Invernizzi.
I beleive that they had two children and I am hoping to make contact with one of them if either are still with us.

Caesar Locatelli, native of Italy, 42 years old, resident of Watsonville, CA, married Mabel I. Flagg, native of California, 34 years old, resident of San Jose, on February 7, 1931 in Amador County, CA.

He came to Argentina about 1882 or so.
He married my GrateGrandmother (Angela Elli) and 8 children (Domingo, Alberto, Rosa, Aída and others).

Hi! My Grandfather was from Bergamo- Como region of Italy. I am trying to find some history of my mother's family. She's 90 yrs old. but sharp as a tack...she insist that our family came from royalty... I cannot find any information on her family. My grandfather's name was Alphonso Locatelli and her had a brother that went to Argentina another brother was Carlo who supposely went to Colorado...So far no luck in finding anyone......help...thank you

Debra, my husband is from Argentina and his mother was a Locatelli who decended from the Locatelli's of Bergamo. They've been in Argentina for several generations, but I don't know exactly when they immigrated from Italy.

My husband's cousin (surname Locatelli, also from Argentina) now lives in South Florida and just attended last month (June) the Locatelli family reunion in Bergamo. They get together every 5 years.

That cousin is compiling a family tree that should will show the exact linkage from Bergamo to Argentina. Once we receive that info, I'd be happy to share.

My name is Debra Locatelli, living in California. I have a cousin who's name is John Locatelli. My father is from Bergamo, Italy, came to America in the 1950's. We had a family reunion a couple of years ago and, just from California, there were over 400 Locatelli's. I didn't know the majority of them, yet we are all related! I am 46 years old.

One of my many times great grandmothers was Catherine Locatelli from Italy, near Parma. She lived in the 1600's I believe and married into the nobility of the Boselli family. I have found some of my italian cousins descended from her also in france and italy and am looking for some in the US as well. If you have any info on the Locatelli family, please let me know. I recieved a Boselli book that has been passed down and that is how I know I am descended from her. Okay, well please email me if any info!
