Did you ever find out anything more about Lockert in Scotland. I am in touch with Lockert's in Norway who told me about this man. Email me if you are still interested.

I live in Alaska. My grandfather was born in Bø, Vesterålen (consists of the municipalities Andøy, Bø, Hadsel, Sortland and Øksnes).

My great-grandfather was Peter Lockert Johnson.

I am now a confirmed as a Lockhart. My family name has been confirmed as a true Lockhart. However I shall keep my surname name as Solomons.

I am researching the name of John Lockhart of Yore (meaning very very old, possibly during Roman times. Can you find more information.

It is very possible that Doris could be the child of Robert Williams Lockert and wife Maureen. They were found in the 1920 census in Memphis, Shelby County, TN. Maureen was age 18 at the time and there were no children. Robert's mother and sisters were living next door. If you are still looking, I have lots of info on Robert's family.

Hi, I'm Lou Love & looking for info and confirmation on ancestry of Aaron Jr. & Aaron Sr.

All I have is an assumption that Sr. was b in Ireland or Scotland ca 1709 and died in SC. ca 1780 - Have no spouse with 5 children.

Aaron Jr with 3 wives & 14 children between them.

I am trying to locate a Mr. Charles C. Lockert, who was raised in Jackson, TN by his father, a retired U.S.N. Chief Petty Office I believe, who was divorced, and Charles' (I knew him as "Charlie") mother lived in Virginia. He and I were in the U.S.A.F. together in Newfoundland in 1956-57 and close friends. He was transferred to Guam after that, and I married and moved to Utah. I would just like to connect with him if he is still living. He worked for the FBI prior to his U.S.A.F. time. Just a close old friend I'd like to find.

I am looking for info about John Lockhart (sometimes written Joen/Joenn Lochert/Lochar/Lockert/Laackertt) and his
ancestors in Scotland. He was born in Scotland and moved to Norway about 1600. He became a citizen of Bergen in
1609, but moved later to the northern part of Norway (he became a citizen of Langenes in Vesteraalen in 1621). John
was a shipmaster/skipper of occupation. His father´s first name may be Morgan/Mogan/Mogens. Another person named
Haagen Lockhart became a citizen of Bergen in 1614. He might be a brother of John Lockhart. Can somebody help me?

Elizabeth Martin (whose parents were Andrew Martin who died in 1773 Chester County, SC.) Elizabet married John Lockhart before 1758 and later married Edward White. She had siblings, Robert, Sarah, Thomas and Agnes who married John McFadden.

My father's ancesters came from Vesteralen Island. My great-grandfather's name was Peter Lockert Johnsen. My grandfather and all his brothers and sisters who came to the US took the last name Lockert because there were too many Johnsen's already.

I have been in touch with some Lockert's in Norway who know the history. His name is Arnt Lockert, afial@rito.no

I have a Robert Lockert born Sept 1888 the son of Newton Lockert and Mildred Williams. I don't have any information on whom Robert married or names of any children. I can tell you that Newton's father was David Read Lockert (b. 1819) and David's father was William Lockert (b.1790 and who would be our common ancestor if you can make the connection). I cannot verify the information, but my father did some research on his Lockert/Lockhart line before his death. I have a chart he drew with names etc. of most of the descendants of Aaron Socrates Lockert if this may be of help. Faye McDonald, whose address you will find on the message boards also has info on this line. I also have pictures of some tombstones, etc

I am a GGGG Granddaughter of John Lockhart/GGG GD of John Lockhart/GG Granddaughter of Andrew Holeman Lockhart/G Granddaughter of Vance (Mac) McDonald Lockhart/Grandaughter of Uriah Lockhart/Daughter of Charles Erwin Lockhart.

I am searching for the place that my Grandfather Uriah (Rye) is buried. I have been told he died in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1931. I know he was married to Ava at the time of his death, because she came to see my parents after Mr. Lockhart passed away. They had 3 children, Anderson, Lorene, and Unknown male.

Aaron Lockhart was born in 1709 moved from Pa to Sc where he died. His wife Sarah Miles brought children to Montgomery county, Tn. I am trying to find out who Aarons father was and if his father came to America with he and his brothers. They settled in Lockhart Shoals, SC. During the Rev was brothers on opposite sides changed the spelling from Lockhart to Lockert.

I have just received some information indicating that Aaron Lockert, born 1709 in Ireland, is supposedly my great, great grandfather. And I'm trying to verify this. The info I have indicates that Sarah Miles(born 1748 in Virginia) was married to Aaron Lockert II (born 1748 in Scotland and died 1798 in Lockert Shoals.) Does anyone have additional info?

I am looking for anyone doing research on the Lockert Family. Henry Lockert was born in France. He married Mary Julia Chassagne who was also born in France. Her father was Victor Chassagne. They settled first in Akron,Summit Co., Ohio and then Owen Twp. in what is in now the Collegeville area of Saline Co., Arkansas. Would like to exchange info with anyone doing research on this line.
