I'm doing a bit of snooping for my mother. Her grandmother, on her father's side, I believe, was Nora Ella Lockett. Miss Lockett was originally married to a Joseph Bursey, and had at least one child, Joseph Jr.. Evidently the elder Mr Bursey passed away, and Nora was later re-married to my great grandfather, Charles Dean. He already had a daughter from a previous marriage, Mable Dean. Together, Charles and Nora had at least two children, my grandfather, Claude William Dean, and another son, Charles Dean Jr.. My grandfather was born in May of 1910, and sadly, Nora Ella Dean passed away about 6 months later.
