Surnames: Lockie/Turnbull
I have a letter written to my GGrandfather, George Lockie,
by John Turnbull of Corbet House, Morebattle, Kelso Scotland,written Jan 24th in 1884. It mentions,"the old lady" Anderson & Bess, in Jedburgh, Barron, "the old man" in for a farm near Swinton. Does this sound like your family?,I would like to know if they are related to the Lockie family in Roxburgh and Jedburg, Scotland
