Alicia:
This will be a partial reply. I have met in this Board someone who may be more closely linked with you line of Loiselles because he also writes about his line becoming Wisell. Now my response to your question:
- First from here in Canada, it is difficult (unless I were subscribed to a genealogical search engine, which I am not)
to follow the descendants who moved to the USA. My antique book of genealogy, has blanks for the children of married couples who moved to the USA. HOWEVER, I found your Pierre and Marie in my book and they have only one child listed (probably the one who married here) and he is Jean Baptiste who married first Celeste Nadeau in 1841 and then in 1844 (maybe he became a widower) he married Monique Casgrain. So, I have reason to assume the others married somewhere else. I will contact the person linked with the Wisells and see if she or he (forgot which) can help you. If you give me a hint on where they moved in the USA, that can help. The connection with Sokiki Abenaki, I really do not have the means easily to do that search Alicia. But I will keep an eye as I have done with my own search and I got the information sooner or later. So until later.
