I was told for many years as a young child that Henry Wadsworth Longfellow was in our family tree. Now that I am older and want to chart out my family tree for my children and other family members I want to find out if in fact this is true. My great grandmother had told us this for many years. If anyone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it. Her name was Mary Edna Lord( her married name was Cole). Her father and mother's names were Eli and Ida Lord.
