I know that there are many Longhurst researchers out there who at some point in time are all linked to this Surrey family.
I have got a copy of the marriage entry for Joseph Longhurst and Sarah Haysman (not Hosmer, Hasmer, Hazmer) which appears in many trees and web-sites.
Joseph was born in 1787 in Capel and Sarah in 1786, whereabouts unknown. I'm still searching for more info on Sarah as I think this spelling on the marriage entry is in-correct. Joseph and Sarah signed their marks, a sign of illiteracy. The occurance of Haysman, Haseman and Heasman, considered alternatives, in Surrey/Sussex/Kent parish records and published indeces is almost nil for the time frame we are looking at.
Joseph, Sarah and their children emigrated to Canada in 1832 as part of the Petworth Project.
I am willing to share a copy of this marriage entry if anyone wants to contact me.
