Charlie is also my great grandfaather, Henry Lopp senior is my grandfather. I remember your dad, Uncle Frank and Aunt Fannie. I would also greatly appreciate any info on our family. We've been trying to find out exactly what country Charles Lopp immagrated from.

Henry Lopp Jr. is my fathers brother, growing up we called him Uncle Buddy. My father is Roy Lopp and he is still alive in Madison Heights Mi. Most recently the oldest Uncle Edger passed away. Your father has a sister alive in Michigan, her Name is Virgina, not sure of current last name. We called her Aunt Birdie. I live in Clawson and have siblings in Utah.

Hello my name is Kristina Lopp and my grandparents were Kermit and Peggy Lopp. All I know is that they came from Germany before my father was born, he is now 58, They raised him in Aniheim California. I am just trying to see if I have family out there that I do not know about!

Hi my name is LaTerrica Lopp and my father is a Lopp. His fathers name was James and he lived in Chacogo Ill. He had family in Arkansas as well his nickname was thita and he was tall slim with very fine good hair now the one thing is my family is black and most of the people that I fined on here with the last name Lopp are not. my e-mail is tankabay@yahoo.com if that helps find any more of my family that would be nice my grandfather had alot of childen in alot of places.

I know this is an old string, but I just got started. My husband's Grandmother was Nellie Zell from Franklin County, PA. Her Father was John M. Zell and John had a baby sister named Catherine born in 1854. I am wondering if there is any connection? I don't think the dates match for our Catherine to be the same as yours, but there may be another connection.

John M. Zell's father was John M. Zell as well. He was born in 1813 in Germany and came to the US in 1853 from Wurttemburg, Germany.

Do you have the 1900,1910, 1920, 1930 census lists for Lawrence and Wayne TN? If not, I will email.

It appears that Elmer's Parents are George W and Anna Lopp per the 1900 census both born Indiana and parents born Indiana. there is a George W Lopp that married Annie E Glase 21 Dec 1879 in Warren Co IN VR.

All this is on Ancestry.com, except in 1920 census Elmer name is spelled Elmor. I can't find George and Annie/Anna in the 1880, either ancestry or familysearch.

He was my Grandfather, Roy Lopp is My Father. He was not full blooded Indian. He died when I was 6 yrs. old I still
remember him well, he was caucasion but his mother was supposed to be full blooded Cherokee Indian.

Roy and Dorothy had Bobby, James ( died same day),Barbara,Sherri,Janice and Jannie (twins also died same day) Danny,Nancy,Andy, thats me and Robin.

A John Lopp, born between 1809 - 1811, was half-brother of Samuel Sr., from Phillip Lopp's first wife. She bore him Catharine, John, and Maria. Phillip's second wife bore him Jacob, Harriet, Samuel Alexander Sr., George, Deborah, and Susan. This John married Margaret Bodel, and one of their children was named John Lopp, b. 9/13/1840, d. 5/15/1924. He was born and died in the Brownsville / California PA area.

A third John Lopp, b. 9/7/1853, was the son of Samuel Alexander Lopp Sr. and Ann Teegarden. He was also the brother of Samuel Alexander Lopp Jr. He died about 1926 in Sharpsburg, PA.

I don't know if any of the three John's lived in Coal Center, but California is very near West Brownsville. There is probably a connection.

Dealing with two Samuel Lopps and three John Lopps, all related, makes you question difficult to answer. PS. I am gr-gr-grandson of Samuel Sr.
