Hi. I am a Lober, but my grandfather was originally a Lorber from Poland, or whatever part of Poland might have belonged to Lithuania or Russia at the time. Lorber was changed to Lober at port of immigration in Philadelphia because it sounded that way. So Lorber might have another branch of Lober.
