Looking for information on Louis Elorett(e). Born France ca.1818. 1870 Census shows him as Louis Elorett But it is my understanding that the name has been mispelled all these years and generations. He was married to Adaliza (Elisa) Thompson, daughter of James. b. Nova Scotia ca. 1824. They had seven, possibly eight children all Elorett or Elorette and born in the Islands off Portland, Maine between 1853 and 1888. He was a fisherman and traveled between Maine and Nova Scotia catching fish. It is believed that he may of had brothers that emigrated to Canada, dates unknown. Also that part of family stayed in France, in the Bordeaux region. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
