I have been working on the Lossing family for quite some time. Outside of a handful of most generous folks we have no ver few branches on our tree. The family has started a new site on MyFamily.com called The Lossing Dynasty. I have always held the Donna Ewins was our head honcho as she has written many articles on the family, so I see her as our family historian. Yesterday a young gentleman handed me a cd full of documentation and picutres. Now I will not put his pictures on the site until I have his permission. But I have documentation of which I have never seen the like before.
I hope all the Lossing descendants can send in their lines and photos so we can begin to supply Donna with new information. In 2009 The Lossing family will have their 350th Anniversary of Pieter landing in North America. I would like this occasion to be well respresented. If you have Civil War Papers or DAR papers scan them or type them out. We need all the help we can get.
