you never got back to me,My husband has an uncle names cristofano,not sure how you adopt the name Lotta,if its your Grandfathers!

I think all the lotta's are in the Italy ,states, and canada ,as for Gucciardi,found out they were origianally gucciardo,was changed when my great grandfather went to the U.S in 1905,stayed till 1911 and went back to italy,My uncle came to Canada in 1949,having sent for his family who slowly started coming to canada 1950's
I know of a few cousin maybe left in italy,but not sure who,some may be buffa,gucciardi/gucciardo,Lotta my husbands side of the family,belafiori not sure if that last name spelled correct.let me know what you know...

Joey I live in Barrie On. originally from Toronto,My husbands Family came at different times,in the 1960's,funny thing is he has an uncle Christopher,I have been asked many times if we are related to the Lotta's in bradford,I also have relatives in bradford,the last name gucciardi,they are my Moms side,are your great grandparents from trapani sicily?My Fatherinlaw Giuseppi will be 78 this January,he has a sister older named Anna,she passed away maybe 12yrs ago,he also had 3 brothers still in Italy,but one has passed away,so 2 brothers still in trapani Vita.My fatherinlaws parents name are Pietra and Francesco Lotta,Maybe cousins to your parents,contact me at maria.lotta@sympatico.ca

My family lives in Bradford, ON. We adopted the Lotto name years ago when my great grandfather Christopher came from Sicily. I am looking for relatives and to work on my family tree for my father and my mother. Can you help me out?

hi I'm mary,My husband frank is from sicily,where we had thought lotta,is an italian name.His Grandfather was Frank Lotta married to pietra Lotta,their Children,critofano,giuseppe,anna,santo,giutano.and vito Lotta
most born between,1915 to 1930's only three of Francesco's children came to Canada ontario,Anna Cristofano,and Giuseppe,Anna passed away in early 1990's,of stomach cancer,and 3 brothers remained in sicily where a brother not sure which one died the 3 months after Anna
Have anyone of you found out if the lotta,name is italian,all pronouce it a lotery name,please let me know,as we still have many lotta's in sicily,names their are Francesco's pietra,vito,santo,many franks,short for FRancesco
