Harold Lotz

Harold Joseph Lotz Sr. was born in Garfield, N.J. He enlisted in the Navy during WWII where he became an MP and later joined the Army National Guard. He attended Hobart and Cornell College receiving a BS degree. Harold worked in the insurance industry for most of his life eventually opening his own agency. During his retirement years, Harold turned his lifelong passion of antique collecting into a successful business. Harold was a movie buff, loved sports, music, reading and was a dedicated family man. He was full of life and always had entertaining stories. He was a quick wit and made friends everywhere he went. Harold was truly loved and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by Harry and Louise Lotz and son Christopher John. He is survived by his eight children: Patty, Judith, Kathleen, Debbie, Harold Jr., Jackie, Cindy and Joy Porcella. Services will be held Tuesday, April 7th at 10:30 A.M. @ Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio. Family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
