The Louie name is indeed intriguing me still. Variations exist and I can't understand why LOUIE instead of Luey or Lui. I have been tracing history and heritage as my artwork is all about that.

Alex, you were (if you still visit this site) keen to post some images here of your visit to Tai Shan... I am heading to my ancestoral village of Tai Shan (Hwai San...Si Yip) in September 2010 and I am probably more anxious than excited having never been to China before but I expect it to be AWESOME and inspiring.
