Am searching for decendents and ancestors of Spicer Lovelocks, mainly from Wootton Rivers, Marlborough, Burbage areas. Have visited the wonderful site at Moonrakers.com and am aware of the wealth of information there. I do not know why my Spicer Lovelocks used the Spicer name. My search started with the family bible in which Fredrick James Spicer Lovelock married Mary Annie Blundy in Marlborough December 25, 1878. Decendents of one of his sons, Cecil John Spicer Lovelock may be living in the Oxford area, where Cecil reportedly moved. My own family is from his daughter Elizabeth Jane Spicer Lovelock. I believe, using parish records, that Fredrick James father was Silas and Silas's father was James who married Hannah Hillier. Please contact me if you have any corresponding info.
