The attached stone pictures shows Martha G. LOWRANCE with birth (Feb. 21, 1807) and death (May 27, 1873). These dates are identical to Mary Graham LOWRANCE (born LOWRANCE, m. Joseph OWENS, Thomas KINCAID & finally John LOWRANCE a half-first cousin). Searching the census, marriage and death records didn't turn up a "Martha" with these dates but many instance of Mary. The stone was replaced in 1989. Could they have made a mistake on the first name or could she have been called Martha as a nickname for some reason?
