Mildred B. Lowther, 75,
of Youngwood, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at home. She was born May 12, 1932, in Bitner, daughter of the late Andrew Sova and the late Katherine Suppock Sova. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Youngwood. She enjoyed golfing and walking. She was a member of Valley Green Golf Course. She retired from Youngs Red & White Supermarket in Youngwood. Surviving are her husband, William J. Lowther; a daughter, Valerie A. Webber and her husband, Terry A., of Norvelt; grandson, Adam V. Reeping and his fiancee, Christy Taylor, of Madison; five sisters, Irene Batta, of Parma, Ohio, Dolores Natale, of Connesville, Josephine Evanina and her husband, Charles, of Bitner, Martha Kostelnik, of Sebastian, Fla., and Katherine Dowman, of Ohio;
and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at C. RICHARD McCAULEY FUNERAL HOME INC., Youngwood, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Norm Melser officiating. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
