Lisa; We have some family from Chatham Ontario which are Lozon's. I would need to know your grandfather's first name. Our Lozon family has 2 different Joseph Lozon's and also a Richard as well. We have a Mary Rose, Bernice, Betty Jean and others as well.....

My ggrandfather was Joseph Lozon b. 1852 Canada m. Sophia LaCasse b. 1851 in Canada. They apparently immigrated to NY but don't have date. The children I know they had were Cordelia b.1870, Azilda Veronica b.1873, Sexsena b.?, Carl b.? Frederick Joseph b.1878, my grandfather. I believe they were all born in Auburn NY. Frederick Joseph had 3 children Bertram Cecil b.1912, Myrtle Marie b.1915?, and one other son name/b. unk died age 2. Would like any info on Joseph Lozon's parents/gparents etc. Also any other children of Frederick Joseph and any knowledge of my father's (Bertram Cecil Sutton nee Lozon) generation. Thanks.

My family was also from NY. Auburn, Buffalo, NYC, and now Rochester. One of my grandfather's siblings lived in Detroit, worked for GM, Carl Lozon. My ggrandfather, Joseph married Sophia LaCasse. My grandfather Frederick Joseph married Florence Effie Shaw. Frederick Joseph's siblings as best I know them, Ezilda Marie nee Marie Azilda Veronica, Carl, Cordelia, Sexsena. (Disputable but maybe siblings are Henry, Melvina, Annie and Lewis.) If any of these sound familiar to you let me know.

sorry it took so long for me to reply. now i have constant computer access. well my dad kerry delos lozon was born 3-10-52. he had 2 sisters mardel and pricillia. mardel is in prison and no one knows where pricillia is. my family lived in the ecorse river rouge michigan area. my dad had family in canada he used to go there when he was little, they were farmers. my dad doesnt talk about his family much his mom mary lozon(zupko) died of ms when he was little and a few years later his dad delos lozon commited sucide. i think he has an aunt and uncle donald and darlene lozon but they might be deceaced. if you know any thing about my family that would be great. my emAIL ADDRESS IS KARIBEAR2006@YAHOO.COM ANYTHING YOU CAN TELL ME ABOUT THE LOZONS WOULD BE GREAT. Maybe I can help you with some information....Joe LaRonge (pronounced LaRongee) at LCO, WI was my great grandpa. His parents were Adolphus LaRonge and Sophia Gokey. Sophia Gokey's parents were Frank Gokey (aka Gauthier) and Shiiab. Shiiab's father was Gagishigasung and Shiaab's mother was gayakomindemoia.

I recd this infomration from Lac O'Reilles Reservation, Rte 2, Box 2700, Hayward, WI 54843, Ph # 715-634-8934 and fax # 715-634-4797. LCO enrollment, attn: Charlene Nickence

Also, Heloise LaRonge Lozon was born 10/3/1903 and died 5/23 1928. Her son is listed as Walter Louis Lozon, Jr.

I also got some records from my great aunt Bernice Cecelia La Ronge Tainter who as I know is still living but in her 90s...

I hope this helps....Quite a few of the LaRonge's are buried at New Post, in the Catholic cemetary...quite a sight to see...good time to go to LCO is during their big pow-wow in mid July around the 16th....

So, by all that I have gathered over the years it seems I'm more Canandian French than anything else. I don't mean to sound disappointed-I'm not. Actually, I'm more than happy to have finally found all the pieces to the puzzle. It's taken me the better part of my life just to find out who my father was.
I will be giving this to my sons and daughters next year on Mother's Day.

Louis Lozon was b. 1854-55 in MI, I think but was Canadian French. He married a woman named Emma who was b. about 1862-65. She was English according to the little bit of information I have from census..
In 1900 Detroit,MI. census Lewis or(Louis) and Emma have been married 15 years having had 9 children with only 6 living
Rosa b.Apr.1886
George b.July 1887
William b. May. 1890
Henry b. 1892
Walter Samuel b. Apr.1896 (my grandfather)
Mable b.Aug. 1899

In the 1910 census it list all the above with Lewis/Louis
and Emma married 25 years having had 12 children with 7 living. Adeline was b. 1907 and the family is living in Paris, NY. George is married 2 years to wife Mary who was born in NY as was her parents

In the 1920 census it has the family back in MI with Lewis/Louis deceased and George is head of household.
William is married to Isabelle born in WI as was her parents.

My grandfather was Walter Samuel who married Heloise LaRonge born on the Lac Courtre Orielles Reservation in Haywood, WI. She was half Chippewa. They had 1 son, Walter Louis Lozon born on the LCO Reservation June 1st 1923. Walter Samuel left Heloise about 2 years into thier marriage to go to MN where he met his eventual 2nd wife Mildred Mary McMahon. When Heloise died at 25, Walter Samuel had to return to WI for his son. They migrated to OR via CO. Both my parents died young taking any information about this family with them. All that I've listed here has taken me the better part of 25 years of searching. I'm hoping someone out there is related to any of the above and can fill in some holes such as Lewis's parents and Emma's maiden name.

I am searching for any links that may get me past my great-grandfather Daniel Louzon. The basics that I know of him is that he was married to Josephine Sarra, they lived in Toledo Ohio around the turn of the century and had four children that survived: Henry, Edmond, Albert (my grandfather) and Peter. An assumed connection is Joseph Louzon and his son Joseph. According to my aunt, my grandfather spoke of Joseph (the son) as his cousin.

If you have any information that my provide a link I would appreciate the help. I would gladly send you what little information I have.

I'm a gg-grandson of Noel Fourquin dit Leveille, who was married to Madeline Lozon, a daughter of Joseph Lozon & Elizabeth/Nancy Pellote. Madeline was born in 1825 in Mackinac Island, Mi.

I live 1 mile beside Walpole Island and my family is all from Grande Pointe. Of course most of them are burried there as well. Grande Pointe cemetary has well over 40 + Lozon tombstones dating from the mid 1800's to present. My grandparents were both Lozon's, Louzons when they married thus making my father %100 Lozon. !

He may have died around 1908 (according to familiy story).

Hello my name is Kari Nicole Lozon. I have really no idea who my family is. My father is Kerry Delos Lozon. His mother is Mary Zupko who died in the 1960s from MS. His father is Delos Lozon who died in the 1960s sucide. My fathers sisters are Mardel Lozon who is in prison and Priscilla Lozon who is married to Micheal Wagner and has son joshua, her whereabouts are unknown.
