Lubans from Latvia

One branch of my family comes from the Daugavpils/Dvinsk and Rezekne area of what is now Latvia. We came over around 1903-1906 and settled in Milwaukee, WI (possibly via New York and Chicago). Some stayed in Wisconsin, others moved to California. My family is descended from Solomon and Dora Luban. I am looking for anyone who might be related to this lineage so we can compare notes, family legends and in general try to construct our family history. My family also is connected with the names Diamondstein/Dimenstein, Misrach/Misroch, and Cohn from the same two towns in Latvia. I am also interested in these lineages.

Wisconsin Lubans

My family originally came from what is now Latvia, but we settled in Milwaukee, WI. Since then, my branch of the family resettled in California, but many remained in Milwaukee. I am trying to reconnect with this branch of the family. Names that my mother remembers (these people would probably all be dead now, but I am hoping to find their children and grandchildren): Solomon Luban and some one named Menucha or something like that (maybe Minnie?). I also find evidence for a Henry Luban on the same street as Solomon.

If there are any descendents of the Wisconsin Lubans, I would love to hear from them.

Looking for descendents of Henoch/Enoch; Sawel/Savwl/Solomon; Berko/Boris Luban. I think I have a fair amount of info about this family from the Lubanaas/Rezekne/Rezitsa part of Latvia. Please contact me if you think you are related to this branch of Lubans.

Yet more Lubans

I seem to be the only person looking for Lubans out there, but I'll keep trying.

My great granfather was Solomon Luban and I have found the family of his brother (Henry Luban). I have a single record of a Berko Luban who seems to have been a brother (similar age, father's name same, etc). I now have also found a single photo of a David Luban taken in London probably sometime around 1903-1905, give or take. Presumably David Luban was a close relative of Solomon and Henry from Rezekne, Latvia (then "Russia"). But no one seems to remember any brother other than Solomon and Henry.

If anyone has information of a Berko (Boris??) Luban or a David Luban who would have been around 25-35 in the early 1900's.
