My husband's grandmother was a Farschman from Lorain, Ohio and would be the niece of Katie Farschman Ludt. I have information on the Farschman line and have two children listed to William and Katie Ludt...Clarence and Roy Ralph Ludt. I have only dates for Clarence, but do have a couple of generation for Roy Ralph...your line, I believe. I don't know how accurate my information is on your line. I'm researching the Ludt family from Ohio. My Gr-Grandfather was Henry William Ludt b.25 Dec 1879 (living in Black River, Lorain County, Ohio in 1900 census) d.01 Feb 1943 (Losa Angeles, California). Henry married Kathlyn "Katie" Farschman, of Grafton Ohio. His Mothers name was Melcinda (or Mary?) Flower (surname correct from death certificate extract), His Fathers name was William (dates unknown).

I can't find any information on his father William Ludt, nor have I managed to get any of the Youngstown Ludt family to match up. Can anyone help?

The only thing I have on the Bierdeman family is the following.

Frank Ludt b. 4/9/1848 in Yo. Oh d. (per her obit he was still living in 1919) m. 6/22/1871 in Yo. Oh Mary Elizabeth Bierdeman b. 8/22/1854 in Lisbon, Ohio d. 1/12/1919 d/o Rev. A. Bierdeman & Rachel R. (Have obit-Bur: Oak Hill Cemetery Lot #423) Sorry.

I am looking for information about my grandfather Karl Webb Bierdeman. He was born in Youngstown OH. on Oct. 22, 1895. He was adopted so I do not know his birth name.

Looking for any and all information regarding the family of Frank Ludt b. 1848 in Youngstown, Ohio m. 6/22/1871 Mary Elizabeth Bierdeman. They had 7 children; Emelia, Frederick, Carlotta, Gustaves, Edward, Frank Christina and Paul. I am interested in any information regarding the Ludts of Youngstown, the parents of Frank Ludt as well as his son Edward's line. One of Edward's sons, Edward Walter, was my father-in-law. Any help appreciated.

I'm Kathryn and Edward Jackson Ludt, Jr.'s daughter, Linda. My mom died last year on July 19, 2000. My dad is now living in a nursing home in Austintown. He is 83 years old. They had just celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary before my mom died. I have a brother James Edward Ludt, who lives in their home in Youngstown until it is sold. My grandfather was Edward J. Ludt, Sr. from Ashtabula, Ohio. My husband, William E. Robb and I married Oct.17,1970 and have two grown daughters, Rebecca Melissa and I have two grandsons, Matthew and Tony. I would like information on the Ludt Family Tree...for my children/grandchildren.

My great grandfather was Frank C. Ludt of Youngstown, OH. Don't know who his father was but Frank married Elizabeth Collins also of Youngstown. They had two children Lesta who married Vaughn Woodworth and Evelyn. I have been searching for any information on this family line and would appreciate any help.
