Lee R. Ludwig Loving Husband and Great Father Lee R. Ludwig, 72, of Union City, Pa.
went to be with Lord on Sunday, April 12, 2009. He was born in Port Huron, Michigan a son to the late James Edward and Nellie Fern (Van Camp) Ludwig. He was a Manager for Industrial Distribution, and retired in 2002. He was a loving husband of 52 years, and a great father and loved golf and was a member of the Union City Country Club for 37 years. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Union City, Pa and Spring was his favorite time of the year. He also served in the United States Army during the Korean War, and was honorably discharged.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by sisters; Reita Mae Marsa, Fern Adrian Warren, Patsy Jane Slyford, and Garth Ann DeMars, and brothers; Robert James Ludwig and Richard John Ludwig. Survivors include his wife Shirley Jean (McCord) Ludwig of Union City, Pa., two sons; James Edward Ludwig and his wife Nancy and Richard Lee Ludwig and his wife Grace, two sisters Betty Jean Tobin and Mary Lou Popp and her husband George. He loved his grandchildren; Patricia Lynn, Andrew Lee, Victoria Lynn, and Elizabeth Marie, two adopted grandchildren, Natalie and Justine Clickett and his four great grandchildren. There will be no calling hours and a memorial services celebrating his life will be held at a later date. The Glenn Funeral Home, 62 South Main Street, Union City, Pa. is handling arrangements.
