Neil and Maxine Ludwig

I'm looking for the family of Neil and MAxine Ludwig who lived in Milford, MI. My grandmother Laura Reno had them listed in her address book with the notation 'cousin mother' I'm trying to find the connection. I have not found any reference to them at all. Does anyone have a clue?
