I am at a brick wall that I hope to get pass...while researching my family i found out that my G-Grandmother, Virginia Alice Logan was the daughter of John Martin Logan and Mary Teletha Lewellen (found on death certificate). I am having trouble finding any information on Mary Teletha Lewellen...born abt 1854-1855. I have found a 1880 census record that lists John M. Logan age 26 and Mary T. Logan age 24 with children Purmelia J. Logan age 6 born in Ky, Jennie (Virginia) A. Logan age 3 born in Indiana, & Sarah E. Logan age 6M born in Ky.
This would put John being born abt 1854 & Mary being born abt 1856. Both John and Mary are listed as being born in Ky. I have also found a death certificate for John Logan that lists his parents as James Logan and Sarah Jane Cox.
I have also found a birth record for John Logan that lists his birthdate as March 14, 1854...
If anyone has any info on my Mary Teletha Lewellen that they could share I would be very greatful as I haven't been able to find anything on her at all....my Lewellen's race is white.
