Hi Kathleen Hurley Gianoulis,
Thank you for the Emails. I enjoyed the background information you gave.
There are 61 Charles Lufkins in our files, unfortunately I did not find a Charles who died in Rumford, Maine, 1794. Any information you can provide will be very much appreciated. Then, I may be able to make a tie in to what we have.
There are ten Carl Lufkins in our files, yet only two who died in the early 1930's:
Carl Burt Lufkin B: 04 Feb 1899, Albany, Maine and D: 06 Mar 1932, location not known.
Carl George Lufkin B: 04 Jun 1888, Davenport, Iowa and D: about 1932, Location not known.
Is either of these Carl Lufkin your Carl Lufkin?
It would be very much appreciated if you would send me what Lufkin data you have so I can add it to our files and hopefully be able fill in some missing data for both you and me.
Any data sent will be shared with Dave Lufkin and Kent Lufkin who have also been doing Lufkin family research.
In one of your Emails you mentioned: "a Norman Lufkin in Levittown,PA. he has a lot of info" Do you know how to make contact with him?
Will be most happy to share any Lufkin data and related bibliography infomation that may help with your efforts.
Thanks again for making contact. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards, Art Smith
