My husband is a Lugar. My Mother-In-Law has some background of the Lugar's in N.S. (as far back as Brian's Great Grandfather I believe) but we don't have anything else. Brian wasn't aware that there were so many Lugar's around. He thought it was quite uncommon (at least as far as his family was aware anyway). We would be interested in any Lugar information.

I know that in Brian's family, the name Faraday is usually present (named after a ship that was named after the scientist).

Any info would be appreciated. I would think there would be a linkage to all Lugar's somewhere.
