my mothers maiden name is Luger which in the netherlands is not a common name therefore the question is where did her ancesters come from? I have been able to track it as far down as Barend Luger who married Englina Paessen and who's son is named Hendrik Luger. Hendrik Luger married Catharina Gerarda de Haan around 25-04-1839. Does anybody have an idea where Barend Luger or one of his ancesters might come from?
