Ada -- Married, April 22d, inst., at the residence of the bride's mother, Mr. Charles Luke and Miss Josephine Elliott, Rev. E.B. Tucker officiating. The young people are well known, in fact have grown to man and Womanhood in this community and have a host of warm friends who wish them a prosperous voyage on the journey of life.

South Ada -- Mr. Charles Luke and Miss Josie Elliott were united in the holy bonds of matrimony by Rev. Tucker, on the 23rd inst. May joy and peace attend them through the diversified paths of life, is the wish of their humble servant. They were of course, serenaded, which is the proper thing, and Charlie set them up like a man. The boys have since presented the happy couple with a beautiful set of imperial glassware. They have also received from old time friends other valuable presents. The couple were nearly raised here, and are known and respected far and near for their many virtues.

Golden Wedding --- Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Luke of Ada will celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary Sunday, April 21. A basket dinner will be held in the baptist church basement at Ada. friends and relatives are invited to attend.
