Emanuel LUSHER was born 1852 in Wood County, Ohio, the son of Jacob LUSHER and Sarah MOURY. Emanuel had a brother William Henry LUSHER who married Philipina Christina HIEL and they lived in Cass County, IN. Emanuel married 16 October 1873 in Cass County, IN, Sarah Jane BURKET, the daughter of Daniel BURKET and Lucinda HALL. Emanuel and Sarah Jane had four daughters and four sons.
