Wilma "Billie" Leonard
Billie passed away Friday, (Oct. 21, 2005), peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. At her request no service is planned.
She was born Wilma Lustig on Nov. 12, 1913 in Chicago, IL. On July 26, 1947 in Waukegan, IL, she married Russell Leonard, who preceded her in death. They moved to Shady Cove in 1963 from Granada Hills, CA.
Billie enjoyed shooting pool. She was a volunteer at the Senior Loaves and Fishes lunch program, and a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary No. 6881 in Shady Cove.
Survivors include, Larry and Peggy Leonard of Alaska, and Pamela and Dan Taylor of Sacramento, Paula House of Medford; three grandsons, two spouses; and two great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; and a son, Wesly.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Providence Hospice.
