i am raul luzarraga of labo camarines norte, philippines. my late father's name is job luzarraga and my great grandfather's name is felix luzarraga. according to my father his great grandfather was from basque, spain. he served in subic, zambales ship building yard during the spanish occupation of the philippines. he died at fort santiago while being incarcinated by the american forces under gen. dewey during the spanish-american war. my father once visited spain when he was still alive. he went to basque, spain municipal hall library. there he saw and read that there were so many luzarragas'.
hoping that this will open our research on our ancestors for we are also interested to find out.
