I recently purchased a bunch of older photos. One photo shows two children with their dog and is labeled on the reverse "Pamie was 5, Roonie was 6, Snookie is 3 (dog), Virginia & Robert, The Lykens, Decatur, Georgia". I do not know where this photo was taken.

Attached is a copy of the photo. If these are your ancestors, please contact me.

I know alot of our ancestors seem to be on different lines, but the majority are the same, just a lot of misspelled, changed spelling, or written down differently. But they are all in the same family. My website has a database of over 71,000 individuals. The site itself is being completely redone as we speak. If you see something that grabs your eye or you need additional help just let me know.
Bobby Lykins
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~lykins/lykins.htm
Becky,
If you are still looking for your nieces, you have found them! We have stumbled across your messages and are very excited to finally know something or someone that can lead us to our mother. I was born in Germany in Dec. 1960. I found Kenneth about 5 years ago through a Military Magazine Ad. He said he didn't remember our mother's name and he didn't know where she was located. After a conversation with him, he made it clear that he had a new life and did not want to be bothered with us ( Rose, Nancy and I ). I never contacted him again. Please write ASAP. I would love to talk to you.
Tammy

The Orner/Arner Family Association seeks descendants of:

CLARISSA LYKENS, Theodore Ira Orner, 1870-1957, Liverpool, Perry; Altoona, Blair; Huntingdon, PA.

You are almost certainly descendants of Hans Ulrich Arner and Verena Eberhard, 1735 immigrants from Switzerland to Philadelphia. Join us for an August 24-25, 2002 gathering in beautiful Lehigh County, Pennsylvania (1 hour north of Philadelphia). For “reunion” information or to see where you fit into the *rner family, visit Joe Erner’s website at www.geocities.com/~erner/gen/arner which documents the Arner/Aner family to the 1500s, or contact us through the Arner Listserv at ARNER-L@rootsweb.com. We’re planning two fun-filled days including a catered Pennsylvania Dutch luncheon and the dedication of a memorial stone in the Heidelberg Union Church cemetery to honor the immigrants. Help us widen our circle of cyber-cousins and plan to attend. We welcome you.

I, William Thomas Lykens, of Pentwater, MI; wish to make contact with anyone somehow connected to my paternal family. My father was William Colonel Lykens, Mo-June E. Billington Lykens. My paternal Grandfather was Lorenzo D. Likens and Grandmother was Amanda E. Paris Likens. My grandfather died about 1918 near Bitely MI and we have no idea of the disposition of my Grandmother Amanda. They apparently split up about 1912, but we have no other details. My Great Grandfather was Morris Lykens, Born early 1840's I think. Thanks

My grandmother was Anna Oydelia "DeeDee" Lykens Shoults. I am interested in any information on her parents William and Mary Magdelena from Bucyrus, Ohio. As it was told to me, Mary Magdelena was killed in 1937 by a hit and run driver. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
