I'm trying to match a will - the daughter is listed as Rebeca (LEHEW) LIKING or maybe LISTING, depending on which book. Her father died in 1811 in Wythe county, VA - but lived most of his life in Frederick County, VA.
I bought the tax lists for the 1790s and found a Jonas Sr., Jonas Jr. and a Henry LIKING - does this ring any bells for anyone?
