My greatgrandfather, John LYNCH b. circa 1839 arrived in Melbourne Australia aboard the Orizaba circa 1889 with his wife Lucy (nee Maloney) b. circa 1854. I believe they came from the Timoleague area of Co. Cork.
They had at least 10 children:
Helena Lillian (b.1873)
Annie (b.1878)
Eileen (b.1879)
John George (b.1880)
William James (b.1882)
Patrick (b.1884)
Thomas (b.1886)
Mary (b.1887)
Joseph Aloysius, my grandfather (b.1889) and
Lucy (b.1891).
I would be grateful for any information about their forebears or other lines of the family descended from them.
