We are not related to the Lyndon family, but in our family papers we found an envelope addressed to: Miss G.E. Lyndon, Washington, Georgia. It is postmarked 1888. The sender sent it from what appears to be West Point Georgia or California (i.e., GA or CA). That's the only info I could decipher, and just thought I'd post this in case it helps anyone.
