Note: Served with the British Royal Dragoons in the Maryland colony 1700 to 1720. From this he earned
the right of 405 acre bounty of land. This was surveyed on Jan 18, 1720. He named the land
Oatry after his birthplace. On June 28, 1727 an adjoining 67 acres were granted him. This land
was named Saint Mary's
