Glad we're all here. Maybe (smile) if you all sign the guestbook at Peekskill Museum (.org) we can get a wider view or our relatives. It would be great to have some critque on the site. In short, I welcome you to The Peekskill Museum in Peekskill, New York, where I was raised, my father Dwight Herrick Macduff was born, where his father Douglas Macduff was a well known attorney when he married Percy Ruth Herrick, of the Herrick House / Peekskill Musuem. This house is a very large Victoian Home. One thing I'd like to add, my name is Douglas A Macduff. My grandfather had no middle name.

I believe Ralph E. Macduff was my great grandfather, his youngest son Norman Wallace Macduff was my grandfather and my father was Van Andrew Macduff. I was apparently named after my grandfather's older brother Douglas who was a prominent attorney in upstate New York for many years. Ralph was an episcopalian minister who married Elizabeth Nelson Ferris.
I am a retired physician just turned 68, have lived in the state of Washington most of my life. I'm referred to by my middle name Kim
I did have contact with a Douglas Avita Macduff about 13 years ago. I believe his grandfather was Douglas.
Kim Macduff

hi jean. Aren't you the woman who I met while on my trip to Amsterday back in 2001 or 2002? I thought that was you. Let me know if that was you and if not then we will start from the beginning. The woman I met was living in Scotland and I traveled to Holland on other business and we met there with her husband. Her name sounds very familiar to yours. Anyway we are the same generation. I am the great grandson of Ralph Erville Macduff, him being my grand dads, dad. Are you in Ontario now?? I have a some information on The Macduff's at the www.peekskillmuseum.org - it's actually a web site of the city of Peekskill, but since the museum is housed at the Herrick House (my dad's name was Dwight Herrick Macduff), all the Herricks of Union ave (where the museum is) are mentioned. I did a study and had help and put some info down on some relatives. Some is here on my family tree, other information at the museum site. I hope you go visit and leave a nice message on the guestbook there if you're so inclined to look for other macduff's or whatever. My private email is dugy01@msn.com write me there please and mention you're Jean Colson. And yes, absolutely, let's share our info. Are you in Canada? Where are you? I am in Salem, Ohio THanks Doug Macduff
