Hello, who were your grandparents? There are two Maciej families from Morrison county. I have not been able to tie them together. I am trying to place where Paul Maciej fits in. Who were his parents and what year was Paul born? Lorrie

Hello Jeff, yes we did talk last year. I would love to see what you have found on the family. I have family tree maker, so that format would be wonderful. I am the Great-Great Granddaughter of Urban Maciej and have a lot of information on the Maciej family from near Bowlus, MN. My great grandmother's maiden name was maciej. She was born Mar 19, 1869. She married Andrew Stachura, settled in Ashland, Wisc and moved to Mpls, Mn in 1914. Legend has it she had a brother Stephen, who wanted to emigrate to US but they had tightened the emigration laws by then. I was wondering if there is any relation to the Maciej's of Morrison County, MN. They came from Slovakia, Saris province which is near the Polish border.

Do you have anything in your reseach that would have any ties to me?

I believe that I was in contact with you last year - you sent me a GEDCOM file of Maciej's. Since then I have been able to make a fairly complete geneology of Maciej's back to the late 1700's, in Poland. If you would like the file I can e-mail it to you, either in GEDCOM or Family Tree Maker format.
Also, If you have any further info on the Maciej's please let me know - I would to see it!

Hi Lorrie wrote you a long email letter would not go through. I was answering your letter you sent me on 1 27 01 today is Mon. the 29 th have tired number of times to send it to you.With no luck, My first cousin did alot of research on the Maciej family she did a wonderful job But she died a few months ago her name was Stella.she was in her 60,s a very dear person. I was trying to find a connection with the names you emailed me could you maybe put down their bd and dd then I'll be able to check closer. thanks Marise
