Anyone with information regarding a family of MacLeod's who settled in the area of the Finger Lakes of NY i.e. Leicester, York, Geneseo, and specifically York. There was a Norman MacLeod and his wife Catherine Morrison and their family of 8 children who settled in York in the 1860's onward. His eldest son (also named Norman) and many more of his children stayed in and around the area of York. We'd like anyone who has a connection or any information about these MacLeods to come forward. We're having trouble tracing the senior Norman MacLeod backwards in time. We know they came from Lecklie, on the Isle of Harris but we know nothing more of their origins. Please Help!
