John Navarre Macomb was born pn Sep. 22, 1843 in Detroit (Wayne Co.), MI. As of 1898, he was living in Lawrence, KS. On Oct. 8, 1898, he joined the Sons of the American Revolution on behalf of the service of his Revolutionary War ancestor, Philip Livingston, a Signer of the Declaration of Independence.

John Navarre Macomb is reported to have died on Jan. 23, 1918. His last known residence was Siloam Springs, (Benton Co.), AR, where he was shown in the 1910 census.
