My James Madge was a tailor and so was his father, Samuel Madge a tailor from Exeter. James birthday appears to be 1827 but that is where it doesn't seem to fit and yet it is repeatedly given in various census that way.
He goes to Malvern area and marries Emily Morgan there.
They were my great, great grandparents.
