I am an Australian Madge descended through a line of welsh Madge's from Pontardawe and am trying to bridge the gap back to I presume Devon somewhere. Any knowledge of the welsh Madge's would be most appreciated. In particular I belong to a Joseph Stanley Madge who emmigrated from Wales, son of Thomas, son of William who appears to have moved to wales with a brother possibly Richard. Also is anyone aware of different distinct Madge lines (ref web site where Madge determined to be an illegitimate child of Margaret!) or are the Madge's pretty much one family? Thanks
