I’m searching for my GG Grandfather’s family. I’m not sure where they came in, possibly New York when he came over. I do know there were from around Miltown Malbay, County Clare. His name is John Madigan b. 1840 in Co. Clare and died Jan 1899 in Minnesota. He married a woman named Anna Hogan born in Feb of 1866 in Ennistymon, Miltown, Malbay, Co. Clare. She was the daughter of Murty (?) Hogan. I have several children listed for them.

2. Michael b. 1868 in Ireland
3. John b. 1870 in Ireland
4. Patrick b. 1872 in Ireland

I descend from Michael Madigan. I have some additional information on the family for those searching the same lines. I do have the following information.

John Madigan’s father & mother Michael Madigan b. 1834 in Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare died in Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare. Married Margaret Hynes .

Michael Madigan’s father: was Owen Madigan and mother was Mary (Bridget) Clancy.
