Our Maffei Family was from the area around Stigliano, Basilicata, Italy. The family settled in New York around 1895. Biase Pietro Paulo Maffei Or better known as Biagio Married Lucia(Lucy) Laino From Aliano, Basilicata, Italy. Their children were Clementina(Clara), Dominick, Vincenzo,and Antonio. Biagio had a brother Gaetano who married Angela Alderisio i believe that was her name i'm trying to remember not looking at any of my paperwork.They lived in Pennsylvania.I think Anthony named his son Biagio as well. he would have been born in the late 1920's or 30's.
