We are seeking information about my husband's grandmother, Maria Maffei. She was born around 1893 and immigrated to the US in 1913. Her father, Veriano Maffei, was a mason; he came to the US for a while but returned to Italy. She was married to Umberto Mercurelli. They were both from Ischia di Castro, Lazio, Viterbo, Italy, we believe. They had four children. She and her husband died in the flu epidemic either in Kentucky or West Virginia. We have gathered some information on her. If anyone is related or has leads, we would be so grateful.
