MORE SUICIDES --
-A German by name of Carl HOUSER attempted to commit suicide on Meiggs' wharf, in San Francisco, on Saturday night last, by shooting himself through the head. The ball glanced, or immediate death would have been the result. A woman by name of Sophia MAGINNIS, was more successful on the same night, and effectually removed herself from any further communication with the "world's people," by taking strychnine. She was 28 years of age.
